Just in time for the holiday season, this hand carved staff was commissioned by a local Santa Claus. The head is made of poplar, and was a second attempt (the original curly maple was far too hard and the grain tore out too frequently). The staff is made of maple and has a nice kink in the middle for grip. It is finished with Osmo LED UV curing hard wax oil. Hoping it serves ol’ Kris Kringle for many years.
